Oak Hill, WV Vacant Building Registation (VBR) now active!

City Council has decided to actively apply its vacant building registration program to deal with dilapidated buildings to further discourage business owners from leaving buildings vacant for lengthy periods.

Three buildings are under review for demolition should the owners not adhere to the VBR ordinance guidelines. Any property owners with buildings found to be unsafe are required to demolish the building, and if those owners do not comply, the city will take demolition matters into its own hands.
