Fresno VPR underway, available online

Fresno, CA: To further facilitate the vacant property registration program passed in April 2015, the City of Fresno has extended its registration options for foreclosed properties to an online form.

The online form is available here, or the Community Revitalization Division can be contacted to have a form provided.

If a structure is going to be vacant, or has been vacant, for more than 30 days it is to be registered with the city so factors commonly resulting in blight can be addressed aforehand.

Properties vacant but not in the foreclosure cycle are still processed under Vacant Building Ordinance (FMC10-617).

Any vacant property falling under the more-that-30-day parameters not registered by April 2016 could face administrative citations to the tune of $250 per month.
